The recipient must have been a member of the Society for at least ten (10) years, must have no direct affiliation with the organizational sponsors of the award; and must have served the Society in at least three (3) of the following categories: (1) Chair of Standing Committee; (2) Member of Executive Council; (3) Editor of Journal of Andrology; (4) Chair of Annual Meeting; (5) Officer of Society.

Thomas S.K. Chang Trainee Travel Award
Established in 1996 in memory of Dr. Thomas S.K. Chang and is funded by sales and donations
Description: The Trainee Affairs Committee established the travel awards in order to assist trainees with travel expenses to the ASA Annual Meeting. All Trainee Members of the ASA who have abstracts accepted, are first author on the abstracts, and need travel assistance to present their work are eligible. These awards are based on need and merit, with an emphasis on need.
Application: Trainees must complete the Trainee Travel Award Application Form when submitting an abstract for the Annual Meeting. Awards are considered reimbursement; therefore, trainees must attend the meeting and present their paper before the travel grant is awarded. Trainees are notified of the amount awarded two months prior to the Annual Meeting.
